On March 25, 2019, a delegation from Canada Foundation for Innovation visited IEESC’s Energy and Environmental Research Laboratory. The delegation included CFI President and CEO, Dr. Roseann O’Reilly Runte, CFI staff and members of the Board of Directors, who are meeting in Regina this week.
Thanks to CFI’s generous support of facilities and equipment, University of Regina researchers are tackling a variety of energy-related environmental issues in the Energy and Environmental Research Laboratory.
Graduate students had an opportunity to present and answer questions about their research, on topics ranging from pollution control for the energy industry, soil and groundwater remediation, energy systems planning, climate modeling and impact assessment, and environmental toxicities from emerging pollutants.
